The yield is scarcely 2 kilos per vine, subjected to “extreme stress” viticulture, which endows this traditional BOBAL with its sagacity.
The wine displays a very lively, clean ruby-red hue with a few bright purple tints, very fine nuances. When we bring the wine to the nose, we can discern notes of toast, white coffee, red berries and cherries. After we let the wine breathe for a few minutes in the glass, our nose is impregnated with minty aromas combined with elegant whipped cream and chocolate notes.
On entry to the palate, we find fresh aromas of mint and fine, polished, smooth tannin. Lively and fruity yet serious, the wine shows breadth, a gentle balance and traces of toffee on the finish, the essence of the Bobal grape with its terroir really coming through.
