With an altitude ranging 600/900 metres above sea level, our region is located in a beautiful plateau watered by the River Magro. In this area, the soil has a perfect balance of sand, limestone and clay.
Our area has good thermic oscillation – hot days and cool nights – due to the Mediterranean breeze, which favours a slow ripening of our grapes, and a good concentration of aroma and poliphenols.
The fact that the vineyards are cultivated in a traditional way and in unirrigated land determines their low yield. Only the ripe and balanced bunches of grapes are harvested, these qualities are later passed on to our wines.
